I am in need of some advice on a 6 month old collie i just got. She was not named at all by the breeder and though we have had her for a couple of weeks she won't come when I call. I know she is not deaf because she barks at the slightest sound. She is really gentle and docile but i can't figure out how to teach her her name! I have worked on giving her a treat when she comes to me but she very rarely comes. Please help!

I love you new web page, the graphics are just wonderful, it goues with the elegance and grace of the collie. I own 3 Samoyeds and one Tartanside male yearling. He is just the greatest, we were afraid that a colie was not going to have that special attitude and exuberance but boy were we ever wrong. He is everything and more. We are very pleased with this sprited young man, but still loves to cuddle with mom.You have lovely collies, and I enjoyed visiting.

I saw your sight and I think your collies are beautiful.I have loved collies since I was 8 years old. Where are you at in IN? I live in IL closed to the IL IN border. I have a 3 year old female collie. She just had a litter of babies on march 21. We had seven 4 girls 3 boys. Shee is a w/f tri/f sable. She was bred to triple d,s northern light. the puppys were just beautiful.They sold very quick,we were so happy with their new homes. I have been thinking of buying a male puppy. I am looking for a tri w/f ,or a t/f sable. Well just wanted you to know I love the look of your collies. Oh by the way my girl is normal eye, as is her parents.I purchased my first collie in 1964, so you can guess i am 56 years old,my husband and I had thought about starting our own line but we haven,y fully decided. thanks,ANN

Hi! Was attending the show this past weekend in Muncie, Indiana, and got taken in by the collies there! As a young girl I had a sable collie boy but when it came time to get another dog (after marriage, kids, and a few years) I chose a shetland sheepdog since we lived in a small city neighborhood. Now, I am itching for another collie. Preferrably a blue merle girl. Don't think I want to show her in conformation, but if nothing else will definitely do agility and obedience with her. Your site is wonderful! Of course your dogs are to! They are gorgous and every one of the are nomaled eyed what a accomplishment! I absolutely think everyone of your dogs are beautiful this including the pups. That poem on therecue page makes me feel sad knowing about how many Collies/dogs are out there with know place to go. Hi Michelle, How are you? Well Steele and I are just having a lot of fun together. He is gorgious and so loving. He will turn out to be very beautiful when full grown. As you know I am in the animal rescue field and I have never seen a more socialized puppy than Steele. You should be commended for your work in raising such well socialized pups and beautiful line of collies. When I am ready for a another collie I will be calling you only! I am so happy with him and have recieved many compliments on him. Steele is a quick learner and eager to please you. He starts obedience training on Oct 28th (sat) and we will keep you posted. Steele and his new brother (My other Merle) Morgan will be training together. It will be fun and thank you for keeping the collie to thier standards. again I have to say this you have the most prettiest collies I have ever seen. Love from Steele and Kathy
